NDC was the lead town planning consultant engaged by the owners of the land who wished to develop the site for 2 x private residences. This required preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in accordance with the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARS).
Designed by Shaun Lockyer Architects, the building needed to respond to a particularly challenging steep site which also presented ecological and bushfire constraints. Being a beachside locality, the project also needed to maintain views and amenity for adjoining properties.
